'Anwar has no say over rally'KUALA LUMPUR: Bersih 2.0 chairman Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan said it was not up to Parti Keadilan Rakyat de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to decide on the July 9 rally.
She said Bersih was led by a group of 30 non-governmental organisations, not the political parties.
"It is our rally. We will decide what we should do with it," she said at the launch of Bersih 2.0 at the Chinese Assembly Hall here. It was attended by opposition parties such as PKR, DAP, Pas and Sabah Progressive Party.
She was responding to Anwar's statement that he would ask Ambiga to call off the rally if Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak promised fair and free elections.
"This rally will be led by NGOs and not PKR because we are the ones who have been having dialogues with the Election Commission."
On the anti-Bersih rally launched by Perkasa yesterday and the burning of her posters, Ambiga said she would leave it to the police.

Oh yes! I totally believe what a 'keling pariah' has to say about this issue. After all, the Malay saying is that "Nampak ular dan keling, balun keling dulu".
Surely anyone who has bad intention towards the country, just like the Christians who wants to change the constitution to make Christianity the official religion of this country will deny what had been found out by the authorities.
Just like a thief caught by the police, the thief will deny that he steals for a living.
So, a CIA agent like the motherfucking Anwar Ibrahim will surely deny any involvement with the illegal Bersih rally.
This Bersih rally is surely a scape goat so that NATO can attack Malaysia if the illegal demonstrators were suddenly shot by CIA snippers hiding up in the building nearby to create chaos in the country.
Then those motherfuckers can put the blame on the police for shooting 'innocent' demonstrators.
