The only Chinese-speaking counselling teacher had to take up 80% of the workload because students would ask for him.
The school’s board of directors chairman Chen Hong Ji said he hoped that the Education Ministry would look into the issue and assign more Chinese-speaking counselling teachers.
“Some students could not converse well in English or Malay, so they were not able to communicate with the non-Chinese speaking teachers about their problems, which in turn affect their studies,” he said.
What is the use of being a Malaysian if they cannot even converse in Malay? That is why the vernacular schools should be abolished to give way to one school in Malaysia. Even the government in developed countries does not give way to these racist schools.
The only things that i don't understand in this country, How can we have national unity with a segregated school system?
ReplyDeleteNajib should alocate more funds for the for them to trained menderine speaking counsler in order to get his 1 Malaysia sucessful.

ReplyDeleteFor sure, it is high time for the education system to be reformed. What this guy wants is more Chinese-speaking counsellors to put the students at ease...the need for these people will decrease as people speak a common language better.
ReplyDeleteAnd that language is English.
